“Who are you? And who do you want to become?”
Hey! Thanks for stopping by. My name is Furqan, I am a 3rd year undergrad at UBC pursuing Biophysics! I am intensely focused on the intersection between neural engineering, machine learning, biological systems, as well as physical AI systems. Expansively so, my work spans building tons of cool stuff! From BCI beanies and biological modelling, to robotic limbs and telepathic systems, I am only limited by my imagination!
The way I think is pretty simple: if something feels impossible, I want to break it down until it becomes buildable. Neural signals, mathematical theory, systems architecture, biology, and software all feel connected to me because they are different ways of asking how information moves, transforms, and becomes action.
Right now I am especially curious about how linear algebra, computational theory, biophysical mathematics, and machine learning can help decode living systems. I want my work to feel expansive, imaginative, and useful, the kind of work that turns strange ideas into real systems people can touch, test, and build on.
Systems I have built
Pattern OS
An AI-native operating system for personal intelligence. Pattern OS continuously analyzes your digital behavior, syncs with Notion and Calendar, detects productivity patterns, and builds a dynamic model of how you work, think, and decide.
